The congress promises to provide a stimulating program. It will feature keynote speakers: David Ferriero, Archivist for the United States of America and Judge Baltazar Garzón, Spanish jurist, specialising, among other things, in terrorism, organized crime, extraditions, crimes under universal jurisdiction (genocide, crimes against humanity).

The challenges and changes that archivists and information management professionals face are based on the need to manage, preserve and make accessible our collections be they paper, film, audio visual or digital formats. Join us in Brisbane in 2012 for a congress program that is focused, innovative and interactive.
 
The congress will examine our ‘climate of change’ through the themes:
Sustainability: Archives recognising archival and information management challenges and working together on strategies to ensure access, preservation, security, and longevity of evidence and information.
Durabilité: la reconnaissance d'archives Archives et les défis de gestion de l'information et travailler ensemble sur des stratégies visant à assurer l'accès, la préservation, la sécurité et la longévité des éléments de preuve et des informations.
Trust: Archives supporting good governance and accountability, advocating ethical and professional processes, developing standards and gaining international acceptance.
Trust: Archives soutenir la bonne gouvernance et de responsabilisation, de promotion et professionnel des processus éthiques, l'élaboration de normes et obtenir la reconnaissance internationale.
Identity: Archives helping the community to connect with their heritage, discover their individual stories and protect their rights; strengthening the value, impact and influence of archivists and information managers.
Identité: Archives aider la communauté à communiquer avec leur patrimoine, découvrir leurs histoires individuelles et protéger leurs droits, le renforcement de la valeur, l'impact et l'influence des archivistes et gestionnaires de l'information.
